Project Description	CAP is a community based development project aiming to assist the poor disadvantaged community to break their vicious cycle of poverty, improve their living standard and make them self reliant. Currently CAP has been working with the objective to build capacity of targeted people for scaling up their livelihood security, social dignity and social justice. To achieve the objective, CAP is following two types of approaches side by side as (a) Target Group(TG) Approach and (b) Community Approach. Capacity Building, Micro-finance, Income Generation etc are being implemented through TG Approach and Total Sanitation, Safe-water, Health, Environment, Education etc through Community Approach. All types of training and other promotional activities are not being done due to fund unavailability in this respect and the project implemented only the microfinance program.
overall aim and objective	Goal: The socio-economic status of the targeted community people of the project area improved. Socio-economic status of 90% targeted beneficiaries in the project area increased by 40% over the pre-project figure. Objectives: The income of the poor people enhanced. Income of the 90% targeted beneficiaries increased by 40% by the end of the project period 2009 over the pre-project figure.
