Islamic Relief was established in 1984 and registered with the UK government’s charity commission-registered charity no. 328158. Islamic Relief has a consultative status with UN Economic and Social Council and is a signatory of code of conduct for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent movements and NGOs in disaster relief. IR is a member of BOND (British Overseas NGOs for Development). It is also a member of the Disasters and Emergency Committee (DEC) UK.
Islamic Relief provides support regardless of religion, sex, ethnicity or gender and without expecting anything in return.
